Clueless: The Musical at Trafalgar Theatre – Fun, Flirty, and Full of 90s Sass
If London is your next place to visit and you want to enjoy a night of comedy and laughter in then consider going to watch Clueless: The Musical.
Showing at the Trafalgar Theatre in the West End, get tickets for this performance and enjoy an explosive mix of teenage tension, chic fashion and energetic fun to the musical numbers, and quite fun yet fabulous over the top musical moments.
The story centres around Cher Horowitz, a stylish and confident high school girl from Beverly Hills. She loves nothing more than giving people makeovers, playing matchmaker, and lets be honest, being the centre of attention. However, behind her glam exterior is a good heart and genuinely caring person in a journey figuring out what really matters.
The storyline is simple and delightful, filled with plenty of teenage awkwardness, self exploration and romantic sparks.
The Cast
What really bring s the show to life is its fantastic cast. Emma Flynn is brilliant as Cher. As soon as she is on stage she captivates the audience. She brings charm and emotion to the character and her vocals are outstanding. Keelan McAulely plays the part of Josh provides a nice balance. The Chemistry is low key and heart warming to watch. Ramona Lewis-Malley also excelled as Tai, with strong vocals and fabulous comedic timing—a character I really identified with. The entire cast performed well, and the combination of their voices, dancing, and offbeat characters made the show absolutely unforgettable.
The musical features an original score by KT Tunstall, and while not every song is a showstopper, several are catchy and cleverly written. There’s a good mix of upbeat group numbers and emotional solos, all performed with energy and personality. Every thing is perfect!
Visually, the show is a brilliant. The set is slick and stylish, making fast transitions between high school lockers, bedroom glam stations, and L.A. hotspots. And the costumes? Peak ‘90s perfection. Think bold colors, plaid everything, mini skirts, knee socks, and lots of accessories. It’s like stepping into a time capsule, and it’s a blast.
This isn’t the kind of musical that’s going to leave you pondering life’s big questions — and honestly, that’s the point. Clueless is theatre candy: bright, sweet, and unapologetically fun. It’s a great pick if you’re visiting London and want a night of laughs, retro vibes, and pure entertainment with zero stress.
